  • 수업 포커스 :
    리버풀 대학교의 영어 센터는 Pre-sessional English 과정을 제공하고 있습니다. 이 프로그램은 영국 대학교에 진학하고자 하는 국제 학생들을 위해 만들어졌습니다. 학생들이 가장 적합한 프로그램을 선택하기 위해 저희는 2가지의 Pre-Sessional 과정을 제공하고 있습니다.
    Management Studies Pre-Sessional Pathway는 리버풀 경영대학교에서 학위를 받고자 하는 국제학생들을 위한 프로그램입니다. 다른 하나는 EAP Pre-sessional Pathway입니다. 이 프로그램은 리버풀 경영 대학교가 아닌 영국의 전역에 있는 대학교에서 학위를 받고자 하는 학생들을 위해 만들어졌습니다.

    수업목표, 장점 :

    커리큘럼 :
    과정 완료시 학생들은 리버풀 대학교에서 공부를 계속 할 수 있는 권한이 주어집니다. 또한 출석요건들 충족 시 증명서가 주어집니다. 또한 그룹 튜터와 정규적인 수업이 진행됩니다. 전문 교사들로 수업이 진행됩니다. 

    수업시간 :     주 21시간 수업으로 진행됩니다. 과정 수업비에서 교재비와 준비물 비용이 포함됩니다. English Language Center는 학생들이 짧은 시간내에 영어 실력 향상하는데 도움을 주기 위해 다양하고 다이나믹한 자료들을 사용합니다.

    Pre-sessional EAP course 는 일년에 5차례 개강하며, 리버풀 대학교 및 영국 대학교 입학을 목적으로 하는 패스웨이 과정이기 때문에 시작일에 따라 기간이 다릅니다. 10월에는 40주, 1월에는 29주, 4월에는 19주, 7월에는 10주, 9월에는 6주 등록 가능합니다. 직접 입학 조건 IELTS 점수를 기준으로 그보다 낮은 점수로 패스웨이 과정에 진학합니다.

  • 리버풀 대학교 숙박옵션은 싱글 혹은 더블 침실로 개인 싱글 룸입니다. 기숙사들은 메인 캠퍼스에 가까이 있고 스포츠 센터, 많은 바와 레스토랑 등이 있습니다.
    대학교 기숙사 비용은 개인 침실, 전기, 가스, 수도 요금 등의 비용들을 포함합니다. 39주 이하의 단기 신청자는 학교에서 도보통학 가능한 Railyard Single (UNITE)를 신청하며 14주 이상 신청시 주당 £140, 14주 이하신청자는 주당  £155 의 비용을 예상하세요.

    UNITE Students: 
    Both are safe, clean, and allow students to mix with other UK and international students.
    -Residences have good levels of security, with swipe card or fob access, CCTV coverage and the University's security teams patrolling 24/7 or in the case of UNITE, an emergency phone number.
    -Specially trained member s of staff are on-call out of office hours and at weekends. They are able to deal with any concerns about accommodation and will be the first point of contact for any incidents or emergencies.
    -We also take care of any maintenance or repair requirements, including appliances, quickly and efficiently. Students at UNITE Students will have an app which allows them to report any maintenance issues.

    As well as a private study bedroom, the rent covers utility bills. All rooms are clustered around shared kitchens. Accommodation typically includes:

まず、オンラインテストを受け合格した人しか通えないのでみんな英語の実力もそこそこあり、熱意もありました。それが本当に良かった点だと思います。卒業後は大学進学を目指す方がほとんどです。教科書を使いマニュアル的な授業ではなく、映画、テレビ、音楽を使い親しみやすく英語学習をしてくれたので授業も楽しく望めました。イギリスの大学の雰囲気を味わえて環境も良かったように感じました。毎週水曜日には会話クラブがあって会話力アップに繋がりました。英語でいろんな話ができるようになる自分が嬉しかったです。アクティビティーも充実していて、みんなでビートルズ博物館を見学しに行ったのは素敵な思い出になりました。語学学校終了後、大学には進学せず帰国する私みたいな人もいるので、英語力を本気で高めたい人にはとてもおすすめです。
