던디 대학교 관하여

  • 던디 대학교는 스코틀랜드 던디에 있는 공립 대학입니다. 1881년 박스터 계열의 섬유 제조업자들의 기부로 대학으로 설립되었습니다. 앤드루스 대학교를 구성하는 대학이었다. 1967년, 던디 대학교는 왕립 헌장에 의해 독립 대학 지위를 얻었습니다.

  • 생명과학 파운데이션
    여러분은 학위 과정 내내 성공하기 위해 필요한 화학과 수학의 핵심 기술을 배우게 될 것입니다. 이 과정을 마치면 생명과학 커리큘럼으로 이동하여 해당 분야를 전체적으로 이해하기 위한 핵심 기술과 지식을 계속 개발할 수 있습니다. 여러분은 유전학, 세포 생물학, 생물학적 조직, 분자 메커니즘과 과정과 같은 주제를 다룰 것입니다. 실험실 기술, 데이터 분석, 실험 설계 및 실행 방법 등 실제 기술을 추가로 개발할 수 있습니다. 레벨 3과 레벨 4에서는 관심 있는 모듈을 선택하고, 관심사가 바뀌면 다른 생명과학 과정으로 전환할 수 있습니다.
    우리 연구원들의 작업은 레벨 1부터 커리큘럼을 따르므로, 여러분은 최신 이론을 배울 수 있고, 더 넓은 분야에 대해 이해할 수 있습니다. 실험실 세션은 여러분의 지식과 실제 기술을 통합하고 실험실 안팎에서 강력한 이전 가능한 기술을 개발하는 데 도움이 될 것입니다.

    본 과정 1학년은 독립성을 배우고 자신만의 길을 찾는 데 초점이 맞춰져 있습니다. 이 과정을 통해 여러분의 실제 기술과 비판적 사고를 발달시킬 수 있습니다. 여러분은 일년 내내 다양한 도전과 기회를 제공하는 다양한 프로젝트를 진행합니다.
    우리의 6개의 스튜디오 공간은 크고 밝으며, 사회적, 협업적 분위기에서 아이디어를 공유하도록 장려합니다. 여러분은 대부분의 시간을 기본적인 기술을 배우며 스튜디오를 기반으로 한 활동에 전념하게 될 것입니다. 전담 직원 팀은 여러분의 학습과 예술 학교 환경으로의 전환을 지원하면서 여러분이 다른 방식으로 생각할 수 있도록 격려할 것입니다.

  • 던디 대학교는 벨몬트 타워, 히스필드, 시브레스, 웨스트 파크 등 4개의 주요 홀에 걸쳐 약 1600개의 방이 있습니다. 모든 객실은 초고속 와이파이를 갖춘 개인 욕실이 딸린 1인용 객실입니다. 방값은 일주일에 약 135파운드~165파운드이다. 세탁 시설, 자전거 보관소, 공유 주방, 주말 주차 시설도 이용할 수 있습니다.

    홀은 대형마트와 기차역에서 10분 거리에 있습니다. 심지어 식당, 카페, 술집들로 가득한 도심까지 걸어갈 수 있습니다.

주변환경

  • 던디는 스코틀랜드 동부 해안에 있는 테이 강둑에 위치해 있습니다. 약 15만 명의 인구가 살고있으며, 7명 중 1명 정도가 학생입니다. 던도니아인들은 "지구에서 가장 친근한 사람들 중 일부"로 묘사되어 왔으며, 이 도시에는 여러 지역 사업체들이 있습니다. 던디는 영국의 유일한 유네스코 디자인 도시이기도 합니다.
    대학 주변의 스코틀랜드의 시골을 탐색할 수 있습니다. 스코틀랜드의 도로와 철도 네트워크의 중심에 있는 던디는 멋진 풍경, 스키, 챔피언십 골프, 등산, 그리고 항해 등을 쉽게 닿을 수 있는 곳에 위치해 있습니다.
    또한 접근성이 좋아 에든버러와 글래스고의 주요 도시들은 기차로 2시간 이내로 갈 수 있습니다. 스코틀랜드의 4개 주요 국제공항은 모두 국영 항공사와 저가 항공사를 운영하고 있습니다.

  • 벨몬트 타워
    벨몬트 타워는 10개의 독립된 아파트 안에 80명의 학생들을 수용합니다. 각 아파트에는 8개의 침실이 있습니다(프리미어 6개, 스탠더드 2개). 프리미어 객실은 일반 객실보다 넓고, 책과 수납을 위한 추가 공간이 있습니다. 각 아파트는 식당과 함께 완전히 갖춰진 부엌을 가지고 있습니다.

    밸포어 플랫스
    밸푸어 플랫은 2층으로 구성되어 있습니다(다리로). 각 층은 13명의 학생을 수용하며(모든 스탠다드 룸), 각 층에는 식당 공간이 있는 2개의 부엌이 있습니다. Balfour Flats는 학생회에서 가장 가까운 숙소이며 학생 활동의 활기찬 프로그램을 최대한 활용하고자 하는 학생들에게 적합합니다.

    벨몬트 플랫
    벨몬트 플랫스는 대학 체육관, 스포츠 홀, 테니스 코트, 수영장, DUSA | 유니온, 메인 도서관, 채플린시 센터 근처에 있습니다.

    그들은 영국과 전 세계에서 온 340명의 학생들을 수용합니다. 5개의 침실이 있는 프리미어 룸 플랫에 60명의 학생이 있고 6개의 침실이 있는 스탠다드 룸 플랫에 280명의 학생이 있습니다. 프리미어 객실은 일반 객실보다 넓지만, 모든 객실은 동일한 가구와 시설을 갖추고 있습니다. 총 60개의 자급자족형 아파트가 있으며, 각 아파트는 식당과 앉을 수 있는 공간이 완벽하게 갖춰져 있습니다.


    씨브라 
    씨브라는 영국과 전 세계에서 온 411명의 학생들을 수용합니다. 1층부터 32층까지는 1995년에 지어졌으며 32개의 7개의 침실이 있는 아파트로 구성되어 있다. 각 아파트에는 식당과 좌석이 모두 갖춰진 부엌이 있으며, 시브레즈 거주민 모두를 위해 공용실을 현장에서 이용할 수 있습니다.

    웨스트 파크 플랫스
    웨스트 파크 플랫스는 메인 캠퍼스에서 서쪽으로 약 1.5km 떨어진 퍼스 로드에 위치해 있으며, 웨스턴 묘지와 해리스 아카데미 중등학교에 인접해 있습니다. 5개의 침실이 있는 고급 아파트에 20명의 학생과 6개의 침실이 있는 일반 룸 아파트에 120명의 학생이 있습니다. 프리미어 객실은 일반 객실보다 넓지만, 모든 객실은 동일한 가구와 시설을 갖추고 있습니다. 각 아파트에는 식당과 좌석이 딸린 부엌이 있다.

    웨스트 파크 빌라
    시티 캠퍼스와 나인웰스 병원 & 의과대학 사이에 위치한 웨스트 파크 빌라는 영국과 전 세계에서 온 160명의 학생들을 수용할 수 있다.

    1996년에 문을 연 16개의 10개의 침실이 있는 아파트는 메인 캠퍼스에서 서쪽으로 약 1.5km 떨어진 곳에 웨스턴 묘지와 해리스 아카데미 중등학교와 인접해 있다. 각 아파트는 식당과 함께 완전히 갖춰진 부엌을 갖추고 있으며, 모든 거주자의 이익을 위해 공동 방을 현장에서 이용할 수 있습니다. 대부분의 싱글 침실은 더블 침대가 제공되며, 다른 침실은 장애학생에게 적합한 형태로 표준 크기의 싱글 침대가 있습니다.
